Date difference
Count calendar days between two dates, without time zones getting in the way.
Calendar days, clearly counted
The count is the distance between the dates, excluding the start date. For example, Monday to Tuesday is one day; the same date is zero. If the end date comes first, the result says so.
The calculation uses Gregorian calendar dates from year 0001 through 9999. It includes leap days and does not use local times or daylight saving transitions. It is a day count, not an estimate in months or business days.
